Services Description

Verdant Rain provides culinary services including but not limited to:

• Private cooking workshops and lessons
• Meal planning and consultation
• Event catering services
• Recipe development
• Kitchen organisation consultations
• Batch cooking sessions

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.

Booking and Payment

When you book a service through our website or by contacting us directly:

• You confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete
• You agree to pay all fees associated with your booking
• Payment is due as specified at the time of booking
• Prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling and are subject to change

Cancellation and Refunds

Our cancellation policy varies by service type:

• Private Workshops: Cancellations with 48 hours notice receive a full refund. Less than 48 hours notice forfeits 50% of the fee.
• Meal Planning: May be cancelled at any time with effect from the following week.
• Event Catering: Deposits are non-refundable within 14 days of the event. Full payment is non-refundable within 7 days of the event.
• Other Services: Cancellations with 24 hours notice receive a full refund.

Rescheduling is available subject to availability and must be requested at least 24 hours before the original booking.

Your Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about dietary requirements, allergies and health conditions
• Ensure a safe and suitable environment for workshops conducted at your premises
• Inform us promptly of any changes to your booking requirements
• Treat our staff with respect and courtesy
• Not share, reproduce or distribute our recipes or teaching materials without permission

Health and Safety

Cooking involves inherent risks including but not limited to cuts, burns and exposure to allergens. By using our services:

• You acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all safety instructions
• You confirm that you have disclosed all relevant allergies and dietary restrictions
• You accept responsibility for your own safety and that of guests at your events

We take all reasonable precautions to ensure safety but cannot be held liable for injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions or undisclosed health conditions.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, recipes and teaching materials, is the property of Verdant Rain Culinary Services and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute or modify any content without our written permission
• Use our recipes or materials for commercial purposes
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from our materials

Recipes provided during workshops are for personal use only and may not be published or used commercially.

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or utility failures.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this website. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
